Portfolio

Our work includes books, e-learning materials, lectures and workshops. Usually material is prepared by negotiation to suit the intended audience though we do have "off-the-shelf" materials, please enquire.

Books

Drug-Receptor Interactions: THE book for understanding drug receptor binding calculations, affinity constants, Schild plots, efficacy, receptor reserve…

A Guide to Pharmacokinetics Calculations: THE book for understanding pharmacokinetics calculations, what all the equations mean and how and when to use them and how to make sense of the results … ordering information

E-learning Examples

Here are some excerpts from e-learning animations which demonstrate what is possible.

Maths: An animation demonstrating the use of an Excel spreadsheet to explain the use of linear and logarithmic scales for representing data. Here the narration helps to keep the learner focussed and facilitates the explanation. — see clip

Chemistry: A simple but effective animation demonstrating how to weigh out a drug and make up a solution. — see clip

Biochemistry: A simple animation explaining a spectrophotometry experiment and including some interactivity. — see clip

Maths: A simple animation illustrating how to rearrange equations. — see clip

Chemistry: Some interactive questions to test level of skill in calculating concentrations of solutions. If the answer is incorrect, feedback is given to show the working. — see example test

Pharmacology: An animation explaining the derivation of equations relating to antagonist affinity constants.—see example clip
